Yaqen reported a source in the provincial police as saying that a joint force of US and Iraqi regime troops raided the home of ‘Adil al-Muhawdir, Governor of Maysan Province, after noon on Wednesday.  Governor al-Muhawdir was not home at the time of the raid, the source said, and the report that the governor had been arrested was false.
