If there is anyone anywhere on earth who has harboured the slightest doubt that the United States government and the regime of the Zionists who occupy Palestine share a common agenda of aggression, colonialism, and conquest, that doubt must now be dispelled by the recent resolution by the US Congress, demanding implementation of an Act passed in 1995 requiring that Jerusalem be regarded as the legal capital of the colonial Zionist entity known as 'Israel.'

With this act the US Congress itself has made it impossible for anyone to take US statements about the illegitimacy of the 'acquisition of territory by force' seriously. In keeping with the new official US doctrine of 'pre-emptive' aggressive war against any regime it dislikes, this resolution legitimises and sanctifies the rape and plunder of any country that shows any independence of spirit or 'gets in the way' of U.S.-Zionist interests. Of course, in point of fact, this is a practice in which the U.S. has repeatedly engaged throughout modern history. Now, however, Congress has enshrined it in law.

The people of the world, any one of whom might be America's next sacrifice on the altar of such 'high morality,' can be expected to draw the appropriate conclusions. We hope that the American people rediscover some of their original revolutionary fervour for justice and do not lag behind.
