Protest Zionist Participation in Morocco's Socialist Conference:

Between May 31 and June 1, the Socialist Union of Popular Forces in Morocco
will be hosting the Annual Conference of the Second (so-called Socialist)
International.  Since the Zionist Labor Party is a member of Second
International, it will be represented in that Conference by a delegation
headed by Shimon Peres, the Zionist Foreign Minister, and the Zionist War
Minister, Ben Aliazar.  This, at a time when the Zionist state continues to
perpetrate death and destruction on the Palestinian people.

It is well-known that Peres is the architect of the massacre of Qana in 1996
in South Lebanon, while Ben Aliazar, in his capacity as War Minister, is
directly responsible for the recent massacre in Jenin.

This is not to mention that Zionists have stolen the land of the
Palestinians and evicted them from that land by force.

Thus, the Socialist Union of Popular Forces in Morocco should have the sense
to refrain from hosting a Zionist delegation in their conference, especially
at a time when this delegation is headed by current ministers of the Zionist
government who are actively and directly involved in the crimes visited upon
the Palestinian people.  In fact, the presence of a Zionist delegation in
the Socialist Conference in Morocco goes against the sentiments of the
Moroccan people who went out to the streets in the hundreds of thousands to
express their solidarity with the Palestinian Intifada, as well as against
the sentiments of Palestinians, Arabs, Muslims, and the supporters of
justice worldwide.

We are therefore asking you to withdraw your invitation to the Zionist
delegation right away as it would neither suit your party nor the cause of
socialism to be shaking hands with Peres and Ben Aliazar while they are
still killing your fellow Arabs and Muslims in Palestine.
