What came out of the Arab Summit is not really surprising , in fact
to the contrary , if the Summit took any real decisions that would
help in the confrontation and the struggle against Israel and the US,
we would be surprised , knowing the history and the composition of
the Arab regimes .
But what is really striking all through the recent years , is the
near death of the Arab peoples , ecxept for very few rare incidents
and instances. What are the peoples waiting for ? Is there any
more humiliation than this situation we are living in ? Daily
massacres against our people in Palestine , complete oppresssion and
confiscation of our simple human rights of expression and political
activities , of expressing our support to our brothers in Palestine
in face of this aggression , ( let alone what happened and still
happens in Iraq , Afghanistan , Sudan , Iran , Libya etc )
It is about time for the Arab peoples to move , in fact , they
should have moved a long time ago , but it is never too late for
action . We should have examples in what happened in Iran ,
Phillipines, Czechoslovakia , Romania , Argentina and elsewhere . We have
to take to the streets and never stop demonstrating and campaigning
until things change . Our demands are clear :
- End all ties with the Zionist regime , and expel all its representatives .
- Full support for our people in Palestine in their struggle against
the Israeli aggression .
- People's right to show their solidarity with our brothers in
Palestine through the right of demonstration , the right to free
self-expression , and all kinds of popular political activities .
- Full mobilisation of the people's resources in support of the Arab
Palestinian cause , in the form of media support , economic aid and
humanitarian aid through all available avenues and organisations .
- Freezing of all relations and co-operation with the US until it
stops its support for the Zionist regime and its total neglect
of the Arab and Palestinian rights .
- It will be a beautiful dream to have Arab states surrounding the
occupied territories to mobilise its armies , as this will
neutralise a large portion of the Israeli army , and prevent it
from participating in its war against the Palestinian people . But
knowing that this is just a dream , at least we demand an end to
all measures taken to stop , prevent and even murder freedom fighters
who want to cross the borders to support the Palestinian struggle .
In other words , OPEN THE BORDERS FOR ARMS AND MEN GOING TO THE
OCCUPIED TERRITORIES .
Saturday March 30, is the day of the Palestinian land , why not
make it a start for our work , lets take part and in full force
in all activities on this day , and KEEP IT GOING .
