How to Deal with the Interrogator?
A Field Manual (In Arabic)
http://www.freearabvoice.org/arabi/intro.htm

Palestinian Arabs have had quite a long experience in dealing with
interrogation, torture, and incarceration in the prisons of the Zionist
entity and Arab regimes.

To educate fellow activists, a group of Palestinian prisoners
well-versed in the art and science of defeating Zionist interrogators
and torturers have collected their know-how in a book titled: “The
Philosophy of Confrontation behind Bars”. The book expounds on the ABC
of handling your oppressor behind bars so as to enhance your ability as
an activist to remain steadfast in the face of attempts to break you,
prostitute your principles, turn informer on your brothers and sisters,
and force confessions out of you.

Naturally, the book cannot be easily found in bookshops in Palestine or
elsewhere, not just because there has been so much demand for it since
it came out a few years back, but also because the invader confiscates
any copies of the book IT comes across.

Thus, on the first anniversary of Al Aqsa Intifada, Ali Hattar, a member
of the Anti-Normalization Committee of the Unions of Professional
Associations in Jordan, and a member of the steering committee of the
Association against Zionism and Racism, decided to present the activists
of the Intifada with something special. He distilled the essence of
“The Philosophy of Confrontation behind Bars”, a book of 250 pages, into
a summary of twelve pages only (in Arabic). He says his purpose is to
make the material available to those who cannot obtain the book or don’t
have the time to read it, and to make it available in a fashion that
people of any educational background can digest.

Given the fact that serious political activists across the Arab World,
and not just in Palestine, live under the constant threat of
interrogation, torture, and incarceration, it would not take too much
imagination to benefit from Ali Hattar’s twelve-page summary outside
Palestine as well.

Some Palestinians are chewing on the 'bait of the Palestinian state'
that Bush Jr. threw out, but we think it is going to be a long and a
hard struggle ahead of us. So this manual will come in handy.

Learn it well, and keep in your records for future reference.

Make copies and distribute to your friends.

It’s one practical way of helping the Intifada.
